Lightening strikes on boats are known to destroy electronics and other valuble systems onboard. A lightening protection system can help alleviate this problem. A lightening protection system can be installed on any vessel to gain maximum protection from lightening strikes. The lightening strike system is designed to protect your vessel from damage by intercepting the lightening strike and safely passing the extremely high voltage currents to the water.
A lightening strike system includes a prod or lightening pole mounted on the top of your vessel, a conuctor path through the vessel to an electrode and onto the water body. This system provides a low resistance path for a lightening strike.
